some GH pounds and in a hurry payday loan Why Do We Want To Help

Welcome

Grace Children’s Village is a project in Uganda focused on poverty alleviation and opportunity creation, with an ultimate goal of achieving self sufficiency. Since 2009, a demonstration farm, comprising crops and animals (pigs, goats, cows and chickens), has been helping to improve farming techniques used by local farmers resulting in improved yields. A school was opened in 2010 and this year between 130-160 children will be being educated and 21 adults are employed at the project. Through 2011-2012 we have been supporting local entrepreneurs through our 'field-to-mouth' pig breeding programme and have launched a microfinance fund in December 2012 to further enable local community members to break their way out of poverty.

We believe we are unique in that we have a 100% Ugandan workforce and the project's vision & talent is through local man, David Bakeine, also our Co-Founder. Outside of Uganda the project works through inspired, self-starting people, which enables your donations to get out there and have a massive impact. A multi-storey classroom block is in construction and we have plans to add a vehicle and a boarding house to the project in 2013, which will help increase our self sustainability credentials - these capital projects are all made possible through our amazing fund raisers and partners.  In addition, a child sponsorship prgramme helps provide a education and feed the children. Please get in touch if you're inspired to get fund raising or sponsor a child.
